The tests

Gadget Tests provides free tests and general guidance for screens, speakers, headphones, microphones and cameras. Results depend on your device, browser and settings, and on what your browser lets a web page measure. They are indicative, not a professional diagnosis, calibration or hearing test.

Safety

• Some screen tests flash rapidly changing colours. Don't use the full-screen flashing mode if you or anyone watching has photosensitive epilepsy.
• Sound tests can be loud. Start at a low volume. Loud tones, especially bass and high frequencies, can damage speakers and hearing.
• Don't press on, open or modify a device based on what you read here unless you accept the risk of damage and of voiding its warranty.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage to devices, loss of data or other loss arising from using the site or relying on its guidance.

Ads and links

The site shows third-party ads and links to other sites and app stores. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.
